Happy to early - sail not repairable!

My crew was amazing, we got the Genoa down quickly and organized a cart to take it to the sailmaker.

Arriving at the sailmaker and looking at the sail the condition of the sail was a lot more severely damaged than we thought. His recommendation was not to repair it and if it would take him a day and not worthwhile.

So what I did there was calling Hans up, the owner of Sofia II and having him talking directly with the sailmaker.

The latest news now is Hans has a spare sail, but we don't know how to get it from Stockholm here to me to Kalmar. Additionally we don't know how fast any solution will be.

So a given is that we at least stay one more day here in Kalmar.

I'm so disappointed!

I talked to Hans around 22h and he is hopeful that he can get the sail on an Express bus from Stockholm to Kalmar either at 7.30h in the morning or 10h, which means us picking it up at Kalmar train station either 14h or 16h. Keeping our fingers crossed that that works!
    Tomorrow morning will tell!
    Good night

Curious to read whether sail exchange went well today. Good luck to you all.
